James Kim

James is a Partner at Reach Capital, an early stage venture capital firm that supports entrepreneurs developing technology solutions for the future of learning and work. He serves as a board director or observer for Ever Scouts, FourthRev, Hopps, Paper, Polygence, and Riipen. Previously, James served as a Yale admissions officer, non-profit executive, and high school math teacher. James earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar; an MA in Education from the Stanford Graduate School of Education; and a BS cum laude in Astrophysics from Yale University. In his spare time, he enjoys CrossFit, powerlifting, escape rooms, social deduction games, and hanging out with his wife and two young boys.
