Brandon Carson

Brandon Carson is the Vice President of Learning and Leadership at Walmart. He has extensive experience in developing learning strategies, leading teams, and implementing learning technology at scale. Prior to joining Walmart, he served as the Head of Learning for Delta Air Line's global airport operations. Previously, Brandon was Director of Learning at Home Depot, where he oversaw learning design and development for all Home Depot employees. He has extensive experience in developing learning strategies, leading teams, and implementing learning technology at scale.Brandon began his career in Silicon Valley where he worked with technology companies including Sun Microsystems, Yahoo, Apple, and Microsoft. He has authored two books, Learning in the Age of Immediacy, and the award-winning L&D's Playbook for the Digital Age. In 2020, he founded L&D Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting talent development professionals with no-cost coaching, mentoring, and career resources.He holds a M.Ed in Educational Technology, a BA in Business, and certification in Advanced Analysis.
