Ronald A. Beghetto, PhD is an internationally recognized expert on creative thought and action in educational settings. He holds the Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and serves as a Professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Prof. Beghetto is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (society for psychology of aesthetics, creativity, and the arts) and the International Society for the Study of Creativity and Innovation. He serves as Editor for Review of Research in Education and Series Editor for Creative Theory and Action in Education (Springer Books). He has also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Creative behavior and a creativity advisor for LEGO Foundation and the Cartoon Network. His recent research and work focuses on realizing new possibilities for learning and life through possibility thinking, creative risk-taking, and creative action. In 2023, Prof. Beghetto was named Dr. Beghetto as one of the Top 200 University-Based Scholars in Education (#86) based on the Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings by Education Week.
