Warly Remegio, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, NEA-BC, FNYAM, is the VP of Nursing Education and Professional Development across Hartford HealthCare System. In this role, he leads the development and advancement of a system focus program for nursing practice and nursing professional development based upon patient-family-centered care approaches that achieve excellent patient care outcomes.In his career, he has served numerous education and leadership roles. In addition, he continuously contributes to advancing nursing through healthcare advocacies, mentorship, and research, focusing on clinical nurses’ psychological empowerment, professional quality of life, and work engagement, which were presented nationally and internationally. Dr. Remegio also serves as VP of the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) and the immediate past President of PNA-NewYork. He received numerous leadership awards, including PNAA Outstanding Leadership (2022) and the Give Excellence Meaning Award Finalist from nurse.com. In addition, he was selected as a Fellow of the Young Professional Voices of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (2020) and a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine (2021).Dr. Remegio completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Case Western Reserve University and currently pursuing his post-doctoral fellowship at the Marian Shaughnessy Nursing Leadership Academy. In addition, he completed his MS in Executive Healthcare Management at Long Island University.
