Shannon Terry

Dr. Shannon Terry, Chief Ideator and Impact Engineer at The Learning AI-gency (TLAI) is a visionary leader and pioneer in the field of AI in education. With a passion for innovation and a commitment to driving positive change, she established TLAI, a global collective of leaders dedicated to transforming education through the strategic integration of artificial intelligence. In parallel, she serves as the VP of National Strategic Accounts for SAFARI Montage partnering with states and districts to build state-of-the-art digital ecosystems that advance effective teaching and learning. 

Shannon brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the forefront of AI in education. With 30+ years in the industry leading complex national, state and district level strategic initiatives, she has a deep understanding of urban, suburban and rural school systems. Shannon continuously seeks out ways to influence the larger political, social, and cultural context for students actively participating in international and national cohorts that advance the integration of technology. Her involvement encompasses diverse roles and recognitions including most recently serving as a fellow with the EdSAFE AI Alliance, receiving the TCEA District Administrator of the Year in 2020, and the statewide Learning Forward Outstanding Professional Learning Award for Team Excellence in 2018 and 2020.
