Samia Zaidi

Samia Zaidi is the Program Director on Along for Gradient Learning, which is a nonprofit education organization that creates captivating solutions to meet the holistic needs of every child. Over her five years with the organization, she has worked as a school and district coach for Summit Learning before transitioning to help launch Along. In her current role, she focuses on ensuring that educators have everything they need to get started and use Along in their classrooms to support each student so they feel seen and understood. Before Gradient, Samia began her career as a 6th-grade Math and Science teacher in Oakland. After teaching, Samia worked in education technology and received her MA in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford’s Graduate School of Education.
