Sallie Holloway is a Computer Science for All advocate and an educational leader building high-quality and inclusive future-ready learning experiences in Gwinnett County Public Schools. As a former high school computer science teacher serving students traditionally underrepresented in the tech space, she has seen firsthand the positive impact relevant computer science education can have on students and believes every student should have access to these opportunities. Sallie served as a teacher and instructional coach in Fulton County Schools before moving to Gwinnett County Public Schools in 2019. She now serves as the GCPS Director of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, supporting all K-12 schools in the district. In this current role, Sallie is responsible for the implementation of the district’s Computer Science for All initiative and its AI and Future-Ready pilot, both aiming to bridge all students to their most meaningful future opportunities. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergrad and holds degrees in Workforce Education, Instructional Technology, and Educational Leadership.
