Rupa Gupta

Rupa Chandra Gupta is cofounder and CEO of Sown to Grow, a student SEL and reflection platform that empowers schools to improve student social, emotional, and academic health through an easy and engaging reflection and feedback process. Before launching Sown to Grow, Rupa was an administrator in San Jose Unified School District, most recently leading a school redesign effort to personalized learning and criterion-based grading.

Prior to working in schools, Rupa spent nearly 10 years in management and nonprofit consulting at Bain & Company and The Bridgespan Group.  She holds a BS from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Stanford University, and a Masters in Educational Leadership through The Broad Residency Fellowship (now Yale School of Management).
