Richie Ressel

Richie Ressel is an educator and innovator with a passion for creating life-changing educational opportunities for youth. Having experienced homelessness throughout his childhood and adolescence, Richie realized how important education was to improve his life trajectory. After being the first in his family to graduate college, Richie followed his calling to become an educator. Richie served as a classroom teacher, language development specialist, and central office administrator for the Glendale Elementary School District in Arizona. Richie also co-founded the nonprofit HEROES For Students and created a guest speaker database and curriculum to teach students skills in leadership, innovation, perseverance, and teamwork. This organization was recognized as one of the top ed tech companies in Arizona by the Arizona Technology Council. At National University (NU), he has served as Directors of Harmony and Inspire to help to help promote social and emotional learning and inspirational teaching practices around the world. He now serves the organization as the Sr. Director of Product & Innovation. As a lifelong learner, Richie is now completing his Doctorate in Organizational Innovation at NU.
