Ranil Herath

Ranil is the President - Healthcare at Emeritus/Eruditus, a newly created vertical. He comes with over 20 years leadership experience in higher education and healthcare, working in Asia, Canada, and USA. He has held positions including President, Head of Marketing/Enrolment/Global Business Development, and Board Chair in the higher-ed space. Prior to Emeritus, he was at Adtalem Global Education where he has led transformation and growth across Nursing, Medical, Veterinary, Business and Technology institutions in Canada, USA and across the world. In his most recent role, he was responsible for enrolment, global business development and workforce solutions at Chamberlain University. Prior to Adtalem, he served as President at several private colleges in Canada. In his early career, Ranil was in Pharmaceuticals, Technology, and Telecommunications.Ranil is also an executive coach, organizational culture champion and mindfulness meditation facilitator. Ranil grew up in Sri Lanka and the UK, went to university in India, immigrated to Canada in 2003 and then to the USA in 2013.
