Prateek Maheshwari is the Co-Founder of Physics Wallah (PW), India’s leading EdTech platform that is democratizing education at scale in India and Co-Chair of India EdTech Consortium (IEC). He joined hands with Alakh Pandey (Founder & CEO, PW) in 2020 to launch PW.Prateek is passionate about transforming the educational landscape and brings with him a notable academic background, holding a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. With over 14 years of experience in establishing tech based companies, he has previously founded various FoodTech and EdTech startups. As a driving force behind Physics Wallah since its inception, Prateek's co-founding role has been instrumental in propelling the organization's expansion in a strategic direction. He spearheaded the nine acquisitions and multiple strategic partnerships for PW. Leveraging his extensive business acumen, he envisions Physics Wallah becoming the go-to platform for high-quality and affordable education, setting new standards for competitive exams.As a thought leader in the Education Sector, Prateek has been a keynote speaker at various government and business platforms such as Bengal Global Business Summit 2023, AWS etc. He is also the Co-Chair of the India EdTech Consortium and has received the Alumnus Award 2023 at IIT-BHU’s 12th convocation. Prateek's philanthropic nature is evident through his involvement with NGOs dedicated to making education accessible for all.
