Nina is a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she serves clients on topics related to workforce and economic development, reskilling, and the Future of Work, with a particular emphasis on promoting racial equity. Recently, her work has focused on helping state and local governments respond to the economic effects of COVID-19 and maximize the impact of federal recovery funding. Nina also is an active contributor to the McKinsey Institute for Black Economic Mobility on research topics including financial inclusion and Black entrepreneurship. Prior to joining McKinsey, Nina earned her doctorate in political science from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. She is the author of How the Color Line Bends: The Geography of White Prejudice in Modern America (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2022).
