Known for her role as Grace/Fanny Briggs in Barry Jenkins Golden Globe winning, 7 Emmy nominated "The Underground Railroad" she carried 17 minutes of storytelling solely; deeming her performance "Honorary Emmy" worthy. As an active member of The Television Academy, Mychal is also known for Amazon Prime "Dead Ringers" as Tara, Tyler Perry 'Have and Have Nots' as the president's daughter "Celia" & HBO 'Togetherness. She has over 18K national commercial airings. but her love for philanthropy & educational literacy trumps all. Education is key & Mychal realized early on as she began reading at the age of 3 (homeschooled/Montessori). She was deemed "gifted" at the age of 6, skipped a grade & is currently a proactive member of The National Honors Society. Her zeal for philanthropy has also landed her hosting and runway opportunities that raise awareness by partnering with paramount brands such as Nike "Support Her Sole" & The NFL Association.
