CNM Ingenuity

Mary Gallivan serves as the Senior Director of Program Management for CNM Ingenuity.  CNM Ingenuity is the enterprise arm of Central New Mexico Community College (CNM).  In her role, Mary oversees the broad portfolio of workforce training programs offered by Ingenuity.  These range from coding bootcamps to commercial truck driving training, from the FUSE Makerspace to healthcare trainings to entrepreneurial offerings and more.

Most recently Mary worked for Tech Talent South (TTS), a technical education company that exists to build and connect local entrepreneurial systems.   Prior to joining TTS, Mary spent much of her career in the nonprofit sector, including five years at Foundation For The Carolinas, the community foundation in Charlotte, N.C.  She spent the first decade of her career in motorsports philanthropy, including serving as the founding Executive Director of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. Jimmie is a professional race car driver and the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion.  Mary also helped build the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, N.C., a camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The camp was founded by the NASCAR drivers Kyle and Richard Petty, and actor Paul Newman.

Mary holds a B.A. in psychology from Duke University and an MBA from Queens University.
