Mary Brown

As a Senior Program Manager on the Next Education Workforce team, Mary works closely with school partners and teams of educators to create structures and opportunities for multiple educators to wrap around shared rosters of learners. Mary works with teams to determine how they can best meet their learners’ needs and supports teams in the design of deeper and personalized learning. Mary joined the team after leading the work at SPARK School at Kyrene de las Manitas, a Next Education Workforce model. Mary watched students make a profound transformation when learning was more student centered and hands-on, and she also witnessed a renewed sense of support as an educator when working with a team. Mary has worked as an educational consultant serving schools across the country, a literacy coach, and an elementary school educator. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership and a BA in Elementary Education.
