Mark Schneider

Mark Schneider is Director of IES, the science agency within the US Department of Education. He previously was a Vice President and Institute Fellow at American Institutes of Research and President of College Measures. He served as Commissioner of the National Center of Education Statistics from 2005-2008. Schneider, the author of many books and scholarly articles, is Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Stony Brook University.
