Dr. Margaret Crespo is superintendent of Laramie County School District 1 in Wyoming. Prior to Laramie County, she was area superintendent for Boulder Valley School District in Colorado. She also spent time as Boulder Valley’s assistant superintendent for secondary school leadership.With more than 25 years of educational and administrative experience, Crespo has been a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal at the secondary level. In the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado, she held the roles of secondary director, chief academic officer, and chief operations officer.Crespo earned a bachelor’s in history and a master’s in counseling from Montclair State University. She received her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Arizona State University and was a member of the fifth cohort of the Future Chiefs leadership development program.
