Imaginable Futures

Luis Duarte was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and has always seen himself as a citizen of the world. He believes that every individual has the potential to be a leader and that it is through love, kindness, and access to options, that we can build (and leave) a better world for those coming after us.

Luis is a partner at Imaginable Futures (IF), a global philanthropic investment firm that believes learning has the power to unleash human potential and aspires to provide every learner with the opportunity and the tools they need to imagine, and to realize, a brighter future. Previously, Luis served as the Chief Philanthropy Officer of ZOMALAB - the family office of Ben and Lucy Ana Walton, and as President of their foundation. Before this appointment, Duarte served as investments director at Gary Community Investments (GCI) where he led GCI’s areas of innovation and impact investing.
