Leandro Otero

Leandro has been fighting for educational equity for nearly 15 years. He started his career as a HS English teacher in Philadelphia as part of Teach For America. From there he led the talent and partnerships strategy team at Teach For America Los Angeles for nearly a decade, placing thousands of teachers in the Southern California area.Leandro transitioned from the non-profit sector to Ed Tech in 2021, working at Spotify for their Soundtrap for Education team as a Senior Account Manager.  In this role, Leandro oversees partnerships with Soundtrap's key, strategic accounts including Los Angeles Unified School District. Leandro is a So Cal native and has degrees from both California State University of Fullerton (BA) and the University of Pennsylvania (MA).
