Laura Jacob

Laura Jacob is the Superintendent of California Area School District. Her passion is all things teaching, learning, and children. She is a graduate of Duquesne University with a BS / BA in Secondary English Education, a MsEd in School Administration and Supervision, a certificate in Curriculum and Instruction, and an EdD in Educational Technology. The innovative Moonshot program has caught the attention of state and national organizations, where the District is redefining the student learning experience by eliminating grades, grade levels, suspensions, traditional school calendars, and truly personalizing learning for children.
