Jorge Valentine

The Puerto Rico Science Technology and Research Trust is the island’s leading innovation and research hub focused on investing, facilitating, and building capacity towards economic development. As the STEM and CTE leader for the Trust, Jorge works, not only with the public policy aspects of STEM education, but also leverages partnerships geared towards workforce development initiatives in IT, communications, telemedicine and manufacturing, all integral components of the island’s socioeconomic development strategy. With experiences in school leadership, funded initiatives, and education research, he considers innovation and early lifelong learning as the keys to changing current education and workforce paradigms.
