Joel Cisneros

Joel Cisneros, LCSW, is the Administrator for Student Health and Human Services at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). In his role, Cisneros provides leadership and strategic advancement in mental health, child welfare and attendance, and wellness partnerships across LAUSD. Cisneros has dedicated his career to advancing mental health and social emotional learning in school settings. He has served on committees across different sectors of public education that have developed programs and shaped policies aimed at mitigating the psycho-social stressors that interfere with children’s ability to reach their full academic potential.
