Jessica Ostrow is the Head of Growth & Marketing for Flipgrid, a video discussion application acquired by Microsoft in 2018 with a mission to empower every learner’s voice while respecting the diverse voices of others. Jessica’s team is responsible for bringing the power of Flipgrid to its community of over 100M educators, learners and families worldwide. Her team builds and manages partnerships, deeply understands the community through research and analytics and drives growth through marketing.
Jessica has over 20 years’ experience in leadership, developing business strategies, consumer and business-to-business marketing, product management and operations. Previous to Flipgrid, Jessica held leadership roles across Microsoft ranging from s marketing to product management, to communications and strategy. Additionally, she co-founded start-up GYST acquired by Cake in 2018, led global strategy and operations at POSSIBLE, and ran her own marketing communications and business strategy consultancy serving clients such as Getty Images, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, InfoSpace Mobile and others.
Jessica is the proud mom of three teenage children, enjoys spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest and is improving her golf game every chance she gets.
