Jeff Leichty

After over a decade in corporate America, Jeff jumped to academia 21 years ago to take the first IT leadership role responsible for shaping technology strategy and vision at Indiana Tech. His prior experience became invaluable as he brought a corporate perspective to a mission-driven organization focused on student success. Being recognized for his ability to lead by example and motivate others to do their best work, Jeff’s efforts concentrated on collaboration between and among departments with teams dedicated to systems and services critical to the university. Jeff’s work has recently focused on pursuing innovations that contribute to student success through close collaboration with the Office of Student Success and various vendor relationships that promote a more holistic student support model. He is involved in the local community through participation on the leadership teams and boards of charitable organizations and a local credit union.
