Dr. Jason Wingard is a globally renowned thought leader in the areas of leadership development, professional learning, and the future of work. He currently serves as President of Temple University and joint-appointed Professor of Management and Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies. Dr. Wingard's career and research span academia and business--providing key insights across both sectors. He previously served as Dean of the School of Professional Studies and Professor of Human Capital Management at Columbia University. He also served as Chief Learning Officer of Goldman Sachs and Vice Dean of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and held cross-functional executive roles at Stanford University, ePals, the Aspen Institute, Silicon Graphics, and the Vanguard Group. He currently sits on the board of directors of Kroll. In service, he sits on the boards of directors of Roundabout Theatre Company and JUST Capital. His books include "The College Devaluation Crisis: Market Disruption, Diminishing ROI, and an Alternative Future of Learning"; "The Great Skills Gap: Optimizing Talent for the Future of Work"; "Learning for Life: How Continuous Education Will Keep Us Competitive in the Global Knowledge Economy"; and "Learning to Succeed: Rethinking Corporate Education in a World of Unrelenting Change." Dr. Wingard holds a B.A. from Stanford University, master’s degrees from Harvard University and Emory University, and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.
