Jane Oates

Jane Oates is the President of WorkingNation, a non-profit media entity created to tell the stories of solutions in career transitions. Oates is an expert in workforce and education having served in leadership positions in the executive branch  at the federal and state level. She spent over a decade with Senator Edward Kennedy on the Senate HELP Committee leading legislation on workforce, higher education, research, national service and career and technical education.  She began her career as a teacher in the Boston and Philadelphia public schools and later as the Director of Field Research at Temple University.
