Hanna Jamal

Hanna Jamal is a Director at Social Finance where she leads the development of social investment products that aim to address inequities and improve outcomes across a range of issue areas including early childhood development, education, and workforce development. Since joining Social Finance in 2016, Hanna has led efforts to launch the first Social Impact Bond to improve workforce outcomes for Veterans with PTSD as well as a first-of-its kind impact fund to enable DREAMers (aka DACA recipients) to earn high quality professional degrees.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Hanna spent six years working in global education and disaster relief for organizations such as Plan International, Acumen, and Doctors without Borders. Hanna holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Anthropology and Development Studies from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
