Gabriel Hostin is a sophomore at Harvard University studying Psychology with a focus in wellness & business. He is the co-founder of Ivy League Mentoring, a nonprofit organization that connects mentors from the Ivy League to disadvantaged high school students. He and his Harvard classmate created this org in the summer of 2022, and the organization has since partnered with August Martin highschool / Lawrence highschool and their 3000 students, has been featured on Good Morning America and ABC Nightline, and been awarded the presidential service award by President Biden. He is also the host of the award winning history podcast Untextbooked, having had 3 successful seasons making history more digestible for middle/highschool students and having been recognized and awarded by Apple and Spotify. Gabriel Hostin is committed to bettering the world around him and he believes that the best way to do that is through education. Outside of his educational endeavors he enjoys performing hip hop/afrobeat type dance, participating in water sports such as surfing / slalom skiing / wake surfing / scuba diving, playing the saxophone/piano, watching/creating film, and creative writing. He is extensively well-traveled, with some of his favorite spots including Costa Rica, South Africa, and Japan. He is also a fluent Spanish speaker.
