Dr. Kelly Coffin

Assistant Superintendent for Innovation and Strategic Initiatives

Dr. Kelly Coffin has been in education for 30 years, serving as an educator in both general education and special education, a building administrator at the elementary and secondary level, local and intermediate school district assistant superintendent, adjunct professor for Eastern Michigan University’s Leadership and Counseling department, and a local district superintendent. Kelly is involved in many organizations, including a founding member of the Future of Learning Council, a group of K-12 superintendents and district level leaders committed to personalized, competency based learning. Kelly also recently worked with Michigan Virtual to support educators in the work of embracing remote/virtual learning and adopting a learning management system to enhance the K-12 instructional delivery model across the educational system. Kelly currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Innovation and Strategic Initiatives at Farmington Public Schools
