Deepak Sekar

Dr. Deepak Sekar is one of the most prolific inventors in the world, with 230 issued patents, a dozen of which are used in most major smartphones. He serves as Co-Founder and CEO of Prof Jim, a startup that leverages AI to auto-create slides, interactive videos and assessments for education. Prof Jim was selected by HolonIQ as one of the most promising edtech startups of 2023, and received the BIG innovation award for its contributions. Prior to Prof Jim, he served as Founder and CEO of Chowbotics, which developed food making robots for businesses and was acquired by Doordash. He received a B. Tech from IIT Madras, and a MS and PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
