Christina Luke Luna, Ph.D. is the Senior Director of Lifelong Learning Pathways at Digital Promise where she leads the organization’s efforts to scale research- and competency-based recognition systems resulting in increased equity and access to powerful learning experiences. Her research has focused on research-based education technology procurement, educator professional learning and coaching, adult learning and workforce development, and improvement science. She is passionate about supporting ecosystems that center learners and their communities, disrupt inequities, and recognize skills developed inside and outside of formal schooling experiences. Before joining Digital Promise, led program evaluations for international, federal, and state education initiatives and delivered professional development and technical assistance to school districts. And before that, she was a high school English teacher and student newspaper advisor.

Dr. Luke Luna earned a Ph.D. in education administration and policy from the State University of New York at Albany, a M.Ed. from University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a B.A. from Boston College.
