Cathy Chase

Cathy Chase is a senior research scholar at the Stanford Accelerator for Learning. She has 18 years of experience in the Learning Sciences, with a focus on cognition, STEM education, and educational technology. She currently studies learning applications of generative AI, teacher adaptation, and sustainability education. Previously, Cathy was an assistant professor at Columbia University. She holds a PhD in learning sciences and technology design from Stanford University. She began her career as a K-8 science teacher in New York City.
