Ashley Hemmy is the Manager of Program Engagement at American Student Assistance in Boston where she oversees ASA’s non-profit and school-based grants programs and partnerships and the team who manages those relationships. Prior to this role she taught fifth grade for seven years in Virginia and in New Orleans LA where she served as a Teach for America corps member. Ashley received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida a M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Virginia a post-master’s certificate in school leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently an Ed.D candidate at Vanderbilt University.
