Alvin Bisarya

VIce President, Physician and Clinical Programs

Kaplan

Alvin Bisarya, MD, leads Kaplan’s virtual patient simulation division,  i-Human Patients, and the Physician Education division, serving hundreds of thousands of graduate healthcare students across the globe.

Under his tenure, the simulation division has grown to be a definitive leader in developing virtual simulation into a robust tool for medical, nursing, and graduate nursing schools. The i-Human platform recently assisted students in providing tens of thousands of clinical experience hours when no other option was viable. The platform allowed these students to maintain their momentum towards achieving clinical competence before graduating and beginning their professional careers.

Previously, Alvin served as Vice-Chancellor at the City Colleges of Chicago, leading the effort to create a healthcare education focused-hub on the city’s West side.  He also served clients in the hospital, pharmaceutical, and public sectors as an engagement manager at McKinsey.

Alvin earned his MD from Northwestern University and BS in Biology from Brown University. He lives in Chicago.
