Allison Dulin Salisbury is the Founder & CEO of Humanist Venture Studio, where she builds companies that create economic opportunity and purposeful work for more people. In her first venture studio, Entangled, Allison launched six education companies that either grew sustainably or achieved successful exits. When Entangled was acquired by Guild Education in 2020, she joined Guild’s leadership team and spent four years there during a period of hypergrowth, including a Series F fundraise and a $4.4 billion valuation. With roots in the liberal arts, Allison believes every person has an innate hunger for purposeful work. She sees generative AI as a powerful new toolset to expand both economic stability and meaning, especially for people who have historically been left behind. She founded Humanist to attract exceptional entrepreneurs to this vision and stack the odds in their favor to build solutions that help more people thrive in the age of AI. Allison is a mom of three young children and lives in the Presidio of San Francisco, where she spends her free time learning new ocean sports.
