Alia Gates

Alia Gates is an experienced educator and Director of Operations at Scholastic Education Solutions, where she supports the implementation of A2i in partner districts nationwide. Before joining Scholastic, Alia held the position of Vice President of Operations at Learning Ovations, where she was responsible for implementing A2i in both study and non-study schools. She has fifteen years of teaching and coaching experience in the Los Angeles Unified School District, Hawai’i Department of Education, and Cupertino Unified School District. She holds a Master's degree in multicultural literacy and curriculum development. Additionally, Alia is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Southern California (Rossier), focusing on educational leadership, teacher self-efficacy, and technology integration in the elementary grades.
