Alan Mendonca is an Innovation Analyst with the SNHU Labs team. His role is to help develop and user-test new projects and initiatives. He joined the team as a Graduate Research Assistant in 2019 while completing his master’s degree.  

He was responsible for the user testing the 3 VR learning experiences and helping with the logistics of a randomized control trial to test the learning efficacy of a virtual reality experience. In conjunction with user testing, he worked on event activation ideas and strategies for the Google Grant project, helping prepare pop events to invite opportunity youth in the Boston area to participate in a digital badging research study.

Additionally, Alan has recently taken on the project management efforts on the AI Writing project, helping bring order and discipline to an initiative that requires collaboration with two R&D teams. He is also working with the team on developing an oral communication assessment, aiding in the research efforts of a natural language processing tool.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Bradley 3Year Honors Program) and a Master of Science in Business & Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
