Adam Cota

Adam Cota is a senior education leader with over 15 years of experience serving governments, school systems, non-profit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies on key strategic and operational issues. He is currently working with data scientists and other researchers to achieve individualizations at scale in higher education.
Adam is sought after for his vision, passionate advocacy and data-driven insights as well as his ability to work at all levels of an organization -- from the board to the frontlines. With experience in both K-12 and higher education, Adam believes the most successful schools are those that are passionate about and deeply committed to the success and well-being of all of their students (including past graduates and current students).

His research to decrease student loan debt and the cost of higher education has been cited by influential leaders such as Clayton Christensen, William Bowen, Derek Bok, and others. In addition to his work in education, Adam has supported non-profits and governments in other mission-driven areas. After one of the most expensive natural disasters in U.S. history, Adam supported a state government by providing influential data-driven insights, developing a plan for recovery, and providing support for negotiations between state and federal officials which directly led to $4.2 billion in supplemental federal funding.
