Accelerating College into High School

The demand for accelerated college experiences in K-12 education is surging, driven by students and families desiring a more flexible and less standard learning environment rich in choice and anchored to relevant career learning. Emergent technology is connected to this evolving model of high schools transforming education with earlier, affordable access to university-level courses, as well as a college-going culture. These programs enable students to replace standard high school classes and earn university credits towards degrees. This session explores the growing demand for early college programs, the concept of true college readiness, and the evolving P-20 education system.
