Will Cullen

Director, Program

Will is Director of Program at GSV Summit. He began his career as a 7th grade ELA teacher and Teach For America corps member and realized the tremendous autonomy and impact he could have on student outcomes within the four walls of his classroom. He was curious why he didn’t feel that same autonomy and impact on the policies created outside of his classroom that greatly impacted students' futures. Will joined Educators for Excellence (E4E) where he organized and trained public and charter school teachers in New York City to take on leadership roles in their unions, schools, and communities to advocate for policies that would drive positive outcomes for all students.

Prior to joining GSV Summit, Will was a member of the Education, Content and Insights team at Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), the go-to marketplace for educators to get teacher-created, innovative, classroom resources. At TPT, Will supported the development and launch of TPT’s digital instructional tool for teachers, Easel. He created programs that drove product adoption and led cross-functional teams to ensure the supply in the marketplace met the demand from K-12 educators.

Will earned his M.A. in education policy from Teachers College, Columbia University and his B.A. in public relations and rhetoric from Villanova University and lives in Dallas, TX.
