Tom Poole

Tom Poole is joining GSV Summit as Chief Partnerships Officer with a 10-year track record in sales and strategic partnerships on some of the world’s largest events. At UBM and Informa Markets he led international sales for market leading B2B events in East Asia and ASEAN in the food and drink sector – running expos in China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Then at Hyve Group on the Bett show, he initially led global government sales, then became Event Director on Bett Asia where he oversaw the highest level of government attendance in the show’s history, whilst also developing collaboration with key strategic partners such as Asian Development Bank, UNESCO, SEAMEO and regional ministries of education. Most recently Tom has led Bett’s Key Accounts and Strategic Partnerships team responsible for engagement with the likes of Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, AWS, HP, Intel, Dell, Lenovo and Samsung, as well as over 30 different government groups, across the Bett portfolio.

Tom has a passion for events, EdTech, cycling and (British!) football and resides on the South Coast of England in Chichester with his partner Issy and their two children.
