International Student Enrollment in Crisis

New regulations in some countries, reports of being “unwelcome” in certain host countries, and changing government support of some study abroad programs had all conspired to impact international student recruitment pre-COVID. Following the pandemic, international student enrollment is in even greater turmoil. Yet, at the same time, private and public employers continue to seek young people with international experience and perspective to better guide their global growth ambitions.  How do you separate short-term changes from longer-term trends?
