How to Solve the Nation’s Reading Emergency

Lexia Learning President Nick Gaehde, Scholastic President of Education Solutions Rosamund Else-Mitchell, Tennessee Department of Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn, Gwinnett County Public Schools Deputy Superintendent T. Nakia Towns, and Watershed Advisors CEO Kunjan Narechania discuss how to solve the nation's reading emergency at the 2023 ASU+GSV Summit.

This session explores tactical solutions–spanning curriculum to technology to accountability–that can bring about the real change young readers need.
