Recognized as one of the top "Women in AI+ED" by AI for Education, Sophia Romee is the head of the GenAI Studio at The College Board - a new incubator accelerating responsible AI experimentation and integrating AI literacy for educators, students, and employees. Sophia founded the GenAI Studio to bring AI innovations and literacy to classrooms and solve education’s most pressing problems. The College Board reaches more than 7 million students a year through its programs. Previously, Sophia led research and analytics at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), where she spent a year in classrooms across the U.S. evaluating the impact of experiential learning and converting evidence-based research to practice. Sophia is also the co-founder of Radical Reset - a social enterprise investing in intentional rest and reflection for individuals, communities, and organizations.
