I'm Sara Spillan, and I've been teaching for 18 years. I'm a Google Certified Teacher with a focus on leveraging the power of Google Workspace for Education (including Drive, Classroom, and Sites). I'm also proud to be a 2024 Google Education + AI Fellow for North America, exploring the cutting edge of AI's impact on learning. Beyond Google's tools, I'm a Canva expert, creating engaging and effective educational materials. I'm passionate about hands-on technology integration, and I regularly test and evaluate educational technologies like Promethean boards, tablets, and laptops to find the best fit for classrooms. I've had the privilege of leading professional development for educators, helping them integrate technology seamlessly into their teaching practices. My experience includes both long and short-range planning, working strategically to improve educational outcomes. I actively contribute to district and school math committees, focusing on curriculum development and student achievement.
