Lana Guernsey is Founder & CEO of Living Strategy, Inc., a science-backed, AI-powered, employee engagement platform for K-12 teachers and staff. Lana is an experienced consultant, facilitator, teacher, administrator, and curriculum designer who has worked with many of the most innovative public, charter, and independent schools in Silicon Valley, where she helps school leaders make strategic planning more collaborative, engaging and actionable. Lana brings more than 25 years experience to her roles as an edtech founder and consultant having helped research, design, and launch school expansions and relocations, including The Nueva School’s addition of a new Upper School division and the relocation of Design Tech High School from warehouse space into custom-facilities on the Oracle Campus in Redwood Shores. While at d.tech, Lana also taught a visual and performing arts elective in communications and design. Previously, she created and launched an entrepreneurial education program at The Girls’ Middle School, where 7th grade girls start and run their own companies for a year. In her previous roles, Lana served as a corporate communications and investor relations executive in the biotechnology industry. She has a Master’s in management from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her TEDx talk “Earthquake: Harnessing Moments that Move You” inspires individuals to take action on ideas to create radiating change.
