Kristell Olivares

I’m a passionate Stewarts Creek High School student, excited to start my journey at Columbia University this fall. I love using technology to make a difference, like when I created a mental health education app with Kode with Klossy or when I developed an AI-powered recycling app with MIT Futuremakers. As a leader, I founded the SCHS Diverse Student Union to bring people together and celebrate our unique backgrounds while also leading the Health Occupational Students of America (HOSA) club at my school and serving as Student Council President. Along the way, I’ve been honored with awards in HOSA competitions and the Rotary District Speech Contest. I truly believe in the power of innovation, leadership, and inclusion to create a better world, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
