Jeff Simon

Jeff Simon is a high school math teacher in Carlsbad, CA and has been teaching secondary math and science in San Diego county for over 30 years. With a background in electrical engineering, Jeff has emerged as a prominent leader in the AI in Education movement. Most recently, Jeff attempted to break in to the edtech market as an edupreneur with his semi-automated grading program, HappyGrader, that used machine learning and AI to help teachers grade their exams. A pioneer of 1-to-1 devices since class sets of iPads emerged, Jeff maintains a running list of tools for his students to utilize at his website, MathematicalArts.AI. A creative thinker, Jeff has drawn upon the myriad of AI resources available to devise a new instructional model that he calls EducAI⁵t for educators to become #bionicteachers.
