Eric Timmons is a film production educator, screenwriter, and AI-driven media arts innovator dedicated to reshaping how students engage with storytelling and technology. As the coordinator of Saintly Films at Santa Ana High School, he leads a program that empowers young, majority-Latinx filmmakers through hands-on learning, industry mentorship, and real-world production experience. Eric serves on Santa Ana Unified’s Innovation Catalyst Collective, helping integrate AI into arts and career technical education. His approach blends Project-Based Learning, Work-Based Learning, and emerging AI applications—from ChatGPT to Runway—ensuring students develop the skills to navigate an evolving media landscape. Beyond the classroom, he partners with The Frida Cinema, ArtWalk, The Humble Company, and international education collaborators, providing students with opportunities to create impactful work that bridges academics and industry. Passionate about equity in storytelling and AI’s role in creative fields, Eric is committed to preparing the next generation of filmmakers to thrive in an AI-augmented world.
