Dr. Brandee Ramirez brings over twenty-five years of educational experience to her current role as AI Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for Saddleback Valley USD, where she focuses on integrating artificial intelligence for inclusive practices. A UCI Writing Project Fellow and Teacher of the Year recipient, her professional journey includes serving as Director of Instruction at Age of Learning and leading Career and Technical Education Pathways in Information and Communication Technologies and Arts, Media and Entertainment. She helped establish an Entrepreneurial High School and spearheaded ELD programs and credit recovery initiatives at a comprehensive high school. Currently, she teaches online entrepreneurial classes and is supporting SVUSD's new innovative high school summer internship program, Classroom2Careers, which integrates AI and business principles. Dr. Ramirez earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC, focusing on instructional coaching and technology integration. Her expertise has been recognized through her roles as an OCCUE Board Member, Principal Tech Network Facilitator for the COTSEN Foundation, and is a current member of the OC AI Forward cohort. She has presented at prestigious forums including the Asia Society Global Education Forum, CUE National Conferences, E-Learning Symposium, National Head Start Association, ISTE, and TCEA. Through her educational consulting company, Passion2Educate, she continues to champion innovation and academic equality for all learners. Her motto reflects her educational philosophy: "Believe in kids and they will do amazing things." When not advancing educational technology, you'll find Dr. Ramirez enjoying family vacations, cheering on the sidelines of volleyball, soccer, or lacrosse games, visiting CU Boulder, working on her ski skills, and pursuing what some might say is her most important mission—the quest for the perfect nachos!
